Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin - Sean nós dancer

Caoimhe Ní Mhaolagáin is Dublin-born musician and dancer. As a fluent Irish speaker, she comes from a strong musical background that gave her music, dance from a young age. Growing up, having many different sean-nós dancing teachers, Caoimhe developed her own, distinct, original style, and with strong connections to West of Ireland, she has been influenced by the old, traditional, Connemara dance style. Caoimhe teaches on a weekly basis across Dublin and has also taught at Irish Music festivals around Ireland and across Europe, her most recent trips being to Estonia, Latvia, France and Switzerland. Performing as a finalist of TG4's Jig Gig, dancing at Oireachtas na Samhna annually and also placing second in the All-Ireland fleadh this year, Caoimhe has great love for the Irish culture. She is also currently rehearsing for TG4's 'Fiche Bliain ag fás' that will be televised live on Halloween night. Being a proud member and supporter of Irish music and Sean-nós dancing, her love for teaching and performing never fails to show.
